Jay knocks, getting more frantic. She feels exposed out here in the glossy, refurbished corridor of the Thermal Park Hotel, but she needs all five of them to know about Brandi breaking into houses, Brandi and her suitcase. “He left, Jay, he bailed on us.” Iggy shows Jay his phone. A single text from Charlie, bright on the screen: I’m sorry, but I’ve made other promises too. Good luck.
